A while back we’re opening adopts a while ago. Unfortunately missed one fat fox, yet lucky I have just enough to purchase this “Fox Onmyoji“. Originally a Kitsune, but I rather thinking an “Inugami” is a pretty cool idea. Mostly inspired by the world that Cheshire made. And to have my own spin of big voracious dogs protecting humans and lesser hounds from being eaten.

So, without further ado, let me introduce you to this Inugami, Hirohiko Yamato

Occupation: Priest/Onmyoji


Bio:

Coming from a modern far-east island city state. Were anthro canines, matched humanity’s intelligence and soul. Coexting with humans despite the canines added height, senses and abilities. With the hounds having a more musculature or a greater fatty physique than humans. However in this community, they have a special bond that gives peace to both canines (primarily dogs) and Humans. Learning to cooperate, admire, respect and even love each other for centuries.

What keeps this harmony stronger, where the Inugami. Extraordinary canine heroes who keep peace with both human and anthro dogs with extraordinary abilities. Who after a mysterious ritual, becomes a powerful spiritual entity. Able to change both physical and spiritual at will. Protecting the innocent from forces of evil and harsh disturbances that invoke them. Rather it be the cruel living souls, or other inugami that revolts with harm with destructive intensions.

Being extremely loyal to their families, caretakers and lovers like other faithful canid. Serving and protecting the next master in succession of the previous family, caretaker or lover that as has passed. Or protecting many generations of the same family or community if needed.

Even so far as snatching and devouring anyone alive up. All without a moment’s notice if they are a threat.
Locking those evil cruel souls away under their layers of dog fat for as long as the inugami stands.

Not even death will set these souls free, for these inugami can absorb the souls of their prey, and use their energy for better use. Such as giving them extra energy to protect the innocent. Yet, if the inugami is mistreated, they will seek out revenge to rather any canid or human who made them. Rather it be hunting them, or straight up eat them on site. If not in control of their powers, their minds will be corrupted will hunt down all of humanity and lesser weaker canines as prey in gluttonous wrath. Only if there were mistreated or disrespected.

Noted to have a mighty hearty appetite, with a strong desire to eat well. Being heavily prideful of his powers that can be a hothead from time to time. Especially using his abilities as an Inugami to hunt down the wicked and evil foes. Only for his prey to end up as a great amount of chub on his thick body. Keeping souls in check as he chuckle and teases his meals. Declaring as an honored to become a part of his massive body, and soul. And said “honor” to be a part of his softest parts (his belly or even butt) as he boast this claim. Yet has a softspot for anyone who can rub his belly, especially humans who admire him. Or feeding him as a way of saying thanks. Even cheap instant ramen being his guilty pleasure. He used to have a tremendous amount of spite in becoming an inugami. But over time it pays off. Such as fire energy from the heat of souls he ate. Great agility, speed and heighten sense then most regular canids to sniff out the most cunning of foul souls. He can also change from psychical to spiritual at will via meditation. Having also a remarkable endurance and resilience in taking care of the evil souls that makes him if not the most indispensable inugami in his community.

If you get past his faulting of being a heroic fat dog, he’s actually has great loyalty, bravery and especially strong-willed to human companions. Now working as a priest/ Onmyoji to have great peace of mind and connections to the souls after his hunting.
