Original story: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/55621678/.
Draco strolled through Sherwood forest with a spring in his step, humming as he took the path he'd had long memorized to the hideout of his close friends Robin Hood and Little John. As he made his way there, his mind buzzed with thoughts of what they would get up to on this merry day. Perhaps prank the Sheriff again? Swipe some gold right out from underneath Prince John's nose? Oh! Maybe they'd lure the guards away from the posts with pie and laugh as the Rhino's greedily gobble on the treat! The possibilities were endless when it came to the Merry Men. Draco would just have to wait and see.
As the blue dragon brushed away the final few brambles, he had arrived at the campsite in the clearing. To his surprise, however, it was empty. Not a soul in sight. Draco wandered further in, past the cooking pot, under the clothes line and over the creek. Where could they be? Just then, a twig snapping under someone's foot could be heard behind him. Spinning round, Draco smiled upon seeing Little John appearing from behind a tree, a sack tucked under his armpit.
"Oh! Hey there, Draco! You're a bit early, haha!" The bear laughed, his belly shaking about under his robe.
"Little John!" He ran up to his friend, wrapping his arms around his stomach for a cuddle which the bear happily reciprocated. "Where's Robin? I was wondering where you both where."
"Daw, don't worry about Robin little guy!" Little John smiled, strolling over to the table and plopping his bag down atop it. "He's just out on a little adventure by himself. I think he's going to see Maid Marian!" Draco circled the table and sat down in the seat opposite Little John, watching as he pulled out fruits and vegetables for his meal.
"Oh, alright. I was just hoping to go on an adventure with you both today." Draco rested his head in his hands, a bored and disappointed look on his face.
"Come on now, Draco." The bear began, reaching over and ruffling up the dragon's hair. "Don't look so glum! Sometime's me and Robin need a break from adventuring. Perhaps if you cheer up, we can go and mess with the Sheriff again once Rob comes back!" Little John's attempt at cheering his friend up worked as Draco sat up, now with a big smile on his face.
"I guess you're right, Little John! As long as I have you guys and the rest of the Merry Men, everyday is an adventure!" The two of them laughed together before they continued talking. Until Little John pull a clump of oddly bright blueberries out of his bag. One's Draco had never seen before. "What are those, Little John?"
"Hm? Oh, these?" He picked one up and rested it in the palm of his paw, which showed just how much bigger it was compared to a blueberry the farmer would sell at the market or ones from the bush behind the Schoolhouse. "I honestly have no idea! I found them growing close to the moat around Prince John's castle. Never seen them before, but I just assumed they were some over ripe blueberries."
Draco picked one up and examined it between his fingers. It felt soft but also very ripe and even now was producing a strongly sweet smell. Aside from their size and color, they looked like pretty normal blueberries. But the something in the back of the dragon's mind had high doubts about it.
"Gee, I don't know, Little John." He said, placing the berry back down with the others. "They don't like right to me. Maybe you should throw them out."
"I mean, I admit they do look weird. But hey, if it wasn't for someone trying a fruit from a bush for the first time, we'd have never had blueberries!" Little John chuckled. His logic made little to no sense, but Draco knew better than anyone that when the bear had his mind set on something, there was no changing it. With natural talent, Little John effortlessly flicked the berry up into the air and caught it in his mouth, chewing away at it. "Oh wow! It's delicious!" He beamed before tossing several more into his mouth.
As the bear ate the berries with delight, Draco's eyes caught something strange happening to his friend. A spec of blue emerging out of thin air on the tip of Little John's snout. At first, it started off no bigger than a pea, but suddenly began to spread across his muzzle and all the way down to his face, with Little John having not a clue of what was happening as he continued to consume the berries.
"Little John!" Draco yelped, jumping out of his chair and startling the bear. "What's happening to your nose?!" He looked back at the blue dragon with confusion before bringing a paw up to his nose and feeling around for whatever had spooked his friend. But when he pulled his paw away, he saw nothing.
"What's wrong Draco? There's nothing on my nose?" Well, Little John was partially correct. Now the blue had spread all across his face and was currently shooting down his arms from underneath his sleeves.
"Y-You're... You're turning blue!"
"Blue? Haha! What? Is it because of all the berries I've eaten?" The bear chuckled, tossing another one in his mouth and swallowing it in one bite. "If you wanted some, pal, then you could've just asked instead of making stuff u-" Little John offered his paw out for Draco to take some berries and it was here he spotted the blue the dragon was talking about as it spread across his entire hand. "What the?! I'm turning blue!"
"I told you so!" Draco said matter-of-factly. The two of them watched speechless as the last bits of Little John's fur turned blue, a similar shade to the dragon boy's scales, leaving him blue from head to toe, when suddenly, the bear's belly let out a growl so loud it shook the trees of Sherwood Forest.
"Oh boy..." He whimpered as he held his already plump paunch in his paws. "I ain't feeling too good, Draco..." And on cue, Little John's belly bulged outward in his hands, inflating at an alarming rate. The sight made them both jump, especially when it increased in speed, swelling the blue bear up bigger than any Rhino or Hippo alive. Hell, he was even bigger than the sheriff now!
"You're swelling up!" As he waddled about in a frenzy, flapping his bloating arms about as his buttocks plumped up behind him, the observing Draco's own worry suddenly began to dwindle away. For some reason, seeing his best friend swelling up all big and fat drew him in. Sure, he did like the big blubbery teddy bear of a bandit that was Little John, but seeing him like this made the dragon's blue cheeks glow red.
After a little while, Little John's swelling began to subside, but only after he'd become a ten-foot ball of juice, having stretched his trademark green tunic and busting his belt. He swayed back and forth on his bare bottom, letting out soft whimpers and moans. His sunken in limbs could be heard slapping against his soft but drum tight body, the only bit of movement he could make. Now that the unexplainable inflating had come to it's end, Draco snapped out of his flustered daze and ran over to his friend's side.
"Littler John! Are... Are you okay?" He asked, pressing his hands against the bear's round body.
"Y-Yeah..." He thankfully responded, though his speech muffled and slurred thanks to juice filling his mouth. "I'm alright... Just a bit... Full is all." A short giggle followed after. The fact the bear could even muster to joke at this time was just pure Little John, always making the best out of a bad - or in this case blue - situation. It succeeded in drawing out a snicker from Draco, who now was feeling up his friend's soft, juicy stomach.
"You know, you sorta look like a blueberry now. Just a thousand times bigger, haha." He commented, pressing his hands in deeper.
"Haha, yeah... I suppose I am. Hope Rob ain't gonna come back soon. The number of jokes that fox will make at the sight of me like this." The two of them shared a laugh again, with Draco's cheeks growing redder as he leaned against Little John.
"Well... I actually think you look good like this." There was silence. Complete and totally awkward silence.
"Really?" Little John asked, taking a weight off of Draco's shoulders.
"Y-Yeah... You're so soft a-and big and..." He then sprawled across the blueberry bear's belly, nuzzling his face into the violet fur. "...So huggable."
"Daw. Well shucks, thanks Draco." Little John answered, smiling bigger than ever. "You know, being this big ain't actually so-" Suddenly, thanks to the dragon pushing against him, the bear went rolling onto his back, with his wide-eyed dragon friend still holding onto his midriff. "-Baaaaaaaad!"
He came to a stop with a thump and a slosh, causing ripples to pulsate around his body and under Draco. Once he came to a proper halt, Little John began to laugh once again, with Draco soon joining in. After a while of feeling the bear's belly gurgle about, the young dragon soon began to curl up on top of his gut, letting out a tired yawn.
"Sorry, Little John. But you're just so soft and warm." Draco mumbled, his eyes falling shut as he rest his head against the fluffy blue mound. "I think... yawn... I might just take a quick lil' nap."
"Hehe, sure buddy. You go right on ahead and have a good long nap." Little John said sweetly as Draco drifted off into sleep on top of the blueberry bear's belly.
