If this were a pokemon, it'd be incredibly more creative and fascinating than what the "proffesionals" at Nintendo have painfully produced in the last 10 years. [please excuse me, I'm just a pokefan]
While I'm freaked by spiders or anything that looks similar, I can't help but be awed by this creature of yours. Will the little plants continue to grow or does it remain as is for camouflage?

I'm not really in all that theme, is there everything SO bad?

Hmm... I think this is an adult creature. May be some fancy flowers to find their mate in season. And little ones have only one sprout to camouflage themself?

I just find the creativity lacking or lazy as a whole. For example, Toucannon is literally just a toucan or creating bunch of versions of the same pokemon [usually just uglier] rather than something new.

I love the idea of sprouting scented flowers as a way to find mates. So even during hightened activity they still have camo protection. Maybe even reproducing by way of pollination lol. It's fun to think about!
