Post-apocalypse setting.
George - Ex-con, was in jail for murder before the zombie invasion, escaped as soon as it started. Teamed up with Quentin for personal reasons. Much more calm and physically strong. Will go to great lengths to survive. More often aloof. Tries to make peaceful contacts with other raiders, but in fact just wants to bloody his fists without guilt.
Quentin, on the other hand, lost his wife and child during the apocalypse. Tried to come to his senses, but only got more desperate. The turning point was when radical raiders attacked his hideout with a few other people, including his new lover, where everyone was blown up and almost everyone was burned alive under the rubble, while Quentin only suffered a concussion and a burned arm. Because of this Quentin went off the rails in search of revenge on the raiders, as such and accomplished together with George, but it did not make him feel better.
So half-crazed and morally lost people are dragged across the country in search of food and blood, where zombies are the least of their problems. In local circles, they've become known as a ruthless duo.
