Kaioso's my actual persona in the multiverse I'm designing. He's kind of a gestalt of every idea I've had because I couldn't help but apply the majority of them to him in some way.

Abilities:

Kaioso is an Ether Mage of significant power, but not as powerful as he used to be. The magic burns he sustained on the right side of his body has destroyed a good portion of his magical ability. He is still, however, a very powerful mage who specializes in earth, electricity and magnetism. He also has assistance from his dragon heritage, which provides him with a boost to his control of earth, as well as magnetic flight. His body is composed completely of living mineral, which makes him resistant to most damage, and allows him to regenerate himself with nearby minerals.

Personality:

Friendly, a little tricky. He has a wanderlust that causes him to explore and observe the shell of overlapping planes called the Mortal Dreams; So much so that it's his life's work to discover and document all the causalities created by the planar phenomenon. Ever since the events that left his body burned, he's been a lot more… Loose with his personality and perception of reality.


Description:

Kaioso is a Gem Dragon, one of four total in the entire multiverse. Not much is known about this specific species of elemental dragon. What is known is they are immortal unless killed and reincarnate when they are killed. There is only ever one of each of the four types in existence. Like most dragons, Kaioso is born without purpose, so he must make his own. He is the Emerald Watcher; he who records the history of the Dreams, a series of overlapping planes which range in description between the mundane Earth we know and the most fantastic world imaginable. He's a brilliant mage and knows quite a few different ways to use magic, all depending on the world he's visiting at the time.


Current Story and Goals:


Kaioso has no current story and goals. I have a lot of vague outlines and stuff, but he's mostly my persona when I'm running games set in the multiverse I've created. He's my little ancient journalist and I doubt I'll ever have a solid back story for him. I'll leave back stories to characters I'll actually use in games as Kaioso is far too powerful to allow anywhere near a group of player characters.
