An oriental classic made with no oil or butter for less calories and more flavour!
(Those with allergies can opt out the eggs and/or peanuts)
Ingredients:
1cup water with 1tbsp soy sauce + 1tsp fish sauce
2 eggs
1/2cup dried shiitake mushrooms
4 baby bok choy sliced
1 sliced onion
1cup rice
1tsp garlic salt
1tbsp garlic powder
1tbsp pepper
1/4 cup peanuts
1/4 cup crispy onion topping
2tbsp oyster sauce
1tbsp hoisin sauce
2tbsp honey
2tbsp minced garlic
1tbsp finely chopped ginger
2tbsp ginger powder
Recipe:
1-mix soy and fish sauce with 1cup water and pour over rice in a hot pan and cover until rice is fluffed and water has evaporated
2-in centre of pan scramble 2 eggs and mix into rice
3-add veggies and mix into rice until mushrooms and onions are softened
4-add spices and sauces into rice and stir until all ingredients are combined
5-plate and enjoy!
