Donate and regularly get screenings done! We had a scare with my mom that luckily wasn't breast cancer, but if it was, it would've been caught early. So remember, take care of yourselves, get screenings done, and spread awareness <3

I don't want to be the wet-blanket to a legitimately good sentiment, but be VERY careful which of those charities you donate to. Unfortunately, there is a ton of 'pink-washing' where various groups will say they give to research, but when you actually look at their publicly available, legally REQUIRED documentation, 95% of their funds go to administrative costs (lining the pockets of individuals), or Logistics and contract costs (paid to 3rd-party companies usually to obfuscate where the funds are going). For an example, Don't give a singe cent to anything associated to Susan G Komen.

No worries, with the amount of scams and shady people around the internet is normal to have such feelings. I must admit I didn't make a huge research for choosing the charity however I did enough research to make sure the BCRF was legit and without shady stuff as you say.

Thanks for the advice tho! it's always good to have that present before donating.

I'm not properly informed about which organization(s) in favor of the fight against the breast cancer there are today, but I can definitely say that this is, without a doubt, one of the best PSAs in favor of this noble cause to this date. <3

I have in the past donated to the BCRF myself. It's also why every year during the month of October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month), I commission a drawing to promote said research ("For A Good Cause" series). That series can be seen here

And on a more personal note, my aunt is a breast cancer survivor. So I commend you, Kat and Michi, for supporting this cause.
