In this long awaited commission, we have three random Renfaire Performance actors participating in pretty much the most anticipated act in any Renaissance fair, the stockade. For any tickle lover, it is the only reason to go to any Renfaire, the exciting spectacle to see people restrained in wooden stocks and being tickled. (Though in real life, its always the women that hog the stocks, Grrrrrrr) So I hope you enjoy my loving tribute to the very best part of the Renfaire.

It was a bright summer day, the perfect day for a colorful extravagant Renaissance Festival. Everyone was wearing their favorite medieval costumes and enjoying themselves, but this specific Renfaire had a very special event. Everyday at noon, a public performance was held at a red tent, the event was called Medieval Justice. A colorful jester squirrel stood out side and cheerfully announced, "Ladies and Gentlemen, gather around for a very special event of Medieval Justice! Today we have three prisoners that are to be punished. May I present the guilty party." The jester then pulled on a rope that lifted the tent curtains wide open, reveling a Lion Knight, a Tiger Barbarian, and a Wolf Peasant. All three were locked in a set of connecting stocks with their necks, wrists, and ankles locked in, with their bare chests and feet exposed. The squirrel jester continued,


"On the charge of the knight, we have found you guilty of insubordination and bribery."

"On the charge of the barbarian, we have found you guilty of roughhousing and disturbing the peace."

"And on the charge of the peasant, we have found you guilty of theft and associating with criminals."

"Now that you have heard the verdicts, how do you all plead?"


Lion Knight: "I am being framed! I've never been in the position of being bribed and I have never disobeyed any order!"
Tiger Barbarian: "Heh, those lowlifes bumped into ME, and I only bumped back the only way that I can, Ha Ha Ha!"
Wolf Peasant: "Ahhhhhh, Ummmmmmm, wrong place...........eh, wrong time?" (smiles nervously)



The jester sight to himself and concluded, "Ah, that's what they all say. Well now, since we've got that out of the way, who want to deliver some old-fashion medieval justice!" The crowd cheered with excitement. The jester then happily replied, "That's always good to hear." He then jumped over to a table covered by a long cloth that was positioned just out side of the red tent. "And now my people, to your toys!" The jester then pulled off the cover to reveal numerous different tickle tools, ranging from feathers, brushes and scratching forks. The observers then started to enter the tent ether armed with some of the tickle tools or with just their bare claws.


As the crowd gathered around the stocked trio, each of the prisoners watched them nervously, each awaiting the tickle torture they were about to receive. Finally, two participants, one with a feather on a stick and another with a wooden scratchier, brought their tools toward the lion knight and started to tickle his feet. The lion quickly started to laugh at a moderate pace, but then suddenly some hands came out from opening in the back of the stocks and started to tickle the lion under the arms, making his laughter louder. Next came the wolf peasant as he yelped and laughed when he felt the clawed hands tickling his ribs, while a brush tickled his right foot, and a clawed hand tickled his left foot.


The tiger barbarian gave a look of annoyance at the knight and the peasant. "Ha, you call yourselves men, when your brought down with simple tickling, how pathetic! Why just wait till I get out of here, I will teach you two ladies the meaning of he he he he he he he he he he he he he he ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!" The rambling barbarian was cut off by the tormenting crowd with furious claws tickling his sides and a brush and and clawed hand running up and down his big feet.


For several hours, the three actors layed in the stocks as more and more spectators tickled them all over. Later that night, when the fair was closed, and the three performance actors were in dressing room changing their clothes. "Ha Ha Ha, boy wasn't that a lot of fun." the tiger actor said, " I could keep doing this forever." The wolf actor looked up and replied, " Same here, and how about our luck as well, who would know that we three tickle lovers would meet up here, and get hired for the same performance." The lion actor concluded, "Yeah, you just can't beat a job like this. Its too bad that this was the last fair opening for a while, man I can't wait to get back into those stocks again." The tiger walked up to the lion, "Well, who says that we'll have to wait?" said the tiger as he held up the keys to the prop. room. "Now that everyone's away, we can have the stocks all to our selves." The lion and the wolf stood up happily, "That would be awesome! Can we go now?" the wolf said eagerly, " Hell Yeah!" The tiger concluded, as the three of them exited the dresser and off for some more tickle fun.
