Mudscouts doin' what Mudscouts do!
Well, I finally did it. A little bit. Here I am out doing what mudscouts do best!!!
This is out at that 'Dry' lake that I found while exploring but this time I have the right outfit for the job. Unfortunately I couldn't do too much exploring this time around as a weather system was due the next day and it was getting close to sunset
Maybe some other time.
Outfit:
tall chonky MJ's with boot tread!
school style skirt, long sleeve blouse (sleeves can be rolled up and buttoned in place) Over the knee socks, rolled down over to cover the color flags retention band. I need a bigger scarf, beret. I need logo's still, if anyone sees logos/badges like our mudscouts ones... want!

Thank you!!! yeah, sometimes weather patterns suck, there were soooo many possibilities and adventures I was planning. but there was a literal "Winter Storm Warning" in effect for the area so I had to be mindful of that. I did have thermal everything on under that outfit, so It may look airy and not so weather-proof, I was actually quite warm and comfortable.
I wasn't dressed for snow + Mud, no, not to mention I'd have to get changed back to my regular clothing, and then take the over an hour hike back to the car. Yeah, no. There is alot of effort going into one of these shoots. I actually brought a few outfits for this adventure, but only was able to use just this one pretty much.
Its perfectly normal for a delta formation. The creek's main water channel has changed leaving this 'dry' delta area. This sort of formation through the sands, of the beach are everywhere. Its often where you find quicksand and soils of less than stable properties. Heck, the heel of my shoe pressed down often punching holes in the surface and more or less making my shoes more like flats vs the heels they were designed as.
