Trickster or shadow Aymp
"She's that sweet dream that won't let you out of the dream world."
Aymp had been rejecting her shadow for her entire life, which made her unable to use her magic to its full potential, and it could fail her at any time.
She was trying to prove to herself and to others that not all members of her species were necessarily bloodthirsty for otherworlders.
But, as it happens, as a child you see the world in black and white, but as an adult you begin to distinguish semi-tones and understand the meaning of some actions.
And in the end, ironically, she still becomes what she tried to deny.
