“Hyembs is never alone as her Kobold Knights can be found right by her side!... Or taking a ride on one of her wings, back or tail. Despite being called "Kobold Knights", they’re all heavily inept fighters and their intelligence, strength, and endurance is surely lacking, but they have willpower and determination! The Knights are admittedly much better at “Cavern Duties” than any form of combat prowess as they usually let Hyembs handle it. They also act as communicators, scouts, ranchers, cooks, trap makers... To be honest, they’re pretty good at filling any job in their colony to an accurate degree except for the combat roles."

Hyembs is a Fairy Tale Cartoon Dragon who is meant to be my Mascot, and even Internet Persona. Although just because she’s the face of I, TwistedHensley, doesn’t mean she shouldn’t have a world of her own or even character to help deviate myself from my creation. The World of Hyembs the Dragon is infinitely more lighthearted than Skin to Scales, as it is heavily stylized to be similar to that of a Saturday morning cartoon show. The basic synopsis of Hyembs is that she’s a giant friendly dragon who ends up helping the local towns and cities in a whacky fairy tale setting. This can sometimes be simple tasks, but most of the time she’s there to fend off dangerous Kaiju and other dragons to keep the city folk safe. She is kind, a bit of an airhead and sometimes unhinged in terms of comedy, but knows how to throw down in a fight when it comes down to saving people. Even a lot of times, many of the monsters she fights are simply misunderstood or somehow the city folk even caused the problem or the mighty King of the land, Oldbeard. This of course isn't always the case, but it is just some of the various scenarios that could be seen out of this series.

The origins of Hyembs are simple and keeping with the tone of the rest of the setting to be easily understood. Once there was a mighty and powerful Wizard who created the Dragons to defend the land from giant monsters, but one day he vanished, and the Dragons were no longer bound to his will. Many dragons left or even started to turn on the people they once protected or became powerful kings and rulers of their own. Hyembs on the other hand is the defender of the “Kobold folk” and seeing the other dragons have left their duties outside her cavern walls, she decided to take up the mantle. Hyembs takes the idealized version of a self-proclaimed "superhero" despite being a gigantic dragon. Hyembs is also a very "physical" dragon as most of what can be assumed is fat, is pure muscle similar to that of a really angry Hippo. She doesn't have cool laser beams or fire breath, but she can certainly grapple someone and suplex the bad guys if it's necessary. The Knights of King Oldbeard just see her as a giant bowling ball and themselves as pins as she has many different "charge" and "rush" attacks.

Despite King Oldbeard shouting to the top of her lungs of how much he hates that "Diabolical Pink Dragon!", ruining his schemes and thwarting his plans, the setting is super light. Don't expect anything extremely dark or graphic when it comes down to Hyembs the Dragon. Most things run on cartoon logic, such as if Hyembs paints herself and disguises herself as a cow among livestock? Ain't nobody is going to somehow expect a thing. (Probably because they're playing along to some extent.) The biggest character flaw of Hyembs is that she has a massive miniature collection and hasn't painted a single one of them. (Probably because her claws are too big, and she needs a big microscope to paint them.)"

Finally, back in the seat of drawing, and this is a... Pretty big one that I've been working on for quite a while. Honestly? It just got finished for me to say thanks for 2K watchers on my DA! (Although I feel as soon as I say it, uhhhh- it'll drop down lmfao) annnd we're getting close to 1k on FA too! Well, 100+ off, but still! Really appreciate it you wonderful lot! That trip really took a lot of out of me, so expect maaaaybe a day or two of a break and some more sketches before I get fully back into it! This was something I've been working on before my trip and I finally got to finish it!- It's a lot of work honestly, but it's here!
