29-year-old Sugar Max is Susie and Mina’s lover from the cheetah tribe when the two were on their African safari trip. The cheetah got his nickname due to the fact that he could create an infinite amount of sweets. He is fused with banana taffy and gumdrops, after all. Some time after the safari trip, he would have been found after feeding a town with his sweets. Mina was closest to his location and met him. She pieced together that he was from the tribe and took him to Dr. E. Dible for examination, and thankfully his sweets don’t have mutation properties. An unfortunate side effect is that he lost most of his memories, besides his love for Mina and Susie. Despite this, he’s gotten used to modern life outside of being in a tribe, and learning about it has been going smoothly for him. Dr. E. Dible is curious about the cause of this mutation and wants Foxtart to fill up with it to see if it will make her mutate or give her unique properties, or at least destroy the mix so nobody else is mutated.
