I had a shitty, shitty day yesterday, and I drew this while I was in the most hideously angry mood I've been in for months. I dunno why, but Amon is a very soothing character to draw. And I'd had this design idea in the back of my head for ages, so it was good to get it out of my brain.

Apparently anger helps me function well, because I'm quite happy with the results. Amon's always been a gorgeous character in my head, but I can never get that right when I put it to paper. I feel a bit closer to that goal, with this. . . even if it's a really simple little thing.

I think my initial intention for this design was to use it for a shirt, someday. Or something. . . I dunno. It's a nice design, but character-specific wear isn't exactly something I'd see a lotta people having an interest in. Maybe when the comic's a bit older.

Anyway. . . it's done, now. And I'm happy. Back to commissions.
