More, or less? He's clearly the mouthpiece for something. Question is, is he the spokeswolf for a canine version of General Woundwort, whose forces are brutally absorbing or eliminating all competing packs? Or might Singer's pack actually be projecting an image of strength they don't have, and it's all a facade? That seems unlikely - you'd think Singer wouldn't be able to display such smarmy calm if he didn't have some kind of real power backing him up - but good stories can take surprising twists. It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out, and what is ultimately revealed.
That is a forboding cut of Swift's sentence. And I feel it is cut that way cause Singer will now say something that Scree was not privy to so far. And with the wording that Singer used I have a feeling that there might be a cleansing of Swift's old pack happening now of those undesirable to Singer's (aka Swift's father). But for that we need to wait for the next page.
