Sorry--I've cut down on my use of lens flare, in general--but in this case, the original poster used lens flares and I was careful about trying to get that same look.

As a matter of fact--These aren't lens flares from Photoshop--I made these myself to dupicate the placement on Drew's original.

I love this so much...

I really liked all of the poster work for the Star Wars films, and this really captures that sort of style brilliantly.

Also, is it just me, or is the starship a sleek and shining silver penis?

LOL Actually, it's supposed to be duckbill-esque. I was trying to anthropomorphized ALL the elements...but I'll take the penis interp!

Seriously, I had a great SW moment recently when I got to meet Peter Mayhew at a comic convention. He's the only original SW castmember I've ever gotten to shake hands with. He was very gracious and HUGE.

I've been a big Drew fan for years! I'm really sad that the movie studios use photos for all their poster art these days. He's done some of the coolest posters of all time--sometimes his posters are the best thing about the movies! (Hook and Masters of the Universe, for example! Crap movies--great posters!)

And they're flying in a Nabill Royal Starship? And is that artoo-treetoo and see-treepio down in the corner? (Best I could come up with for them... D: R2 is a squirrel, so he like trees? And I couldn't figure out WHAT C-3PO was, best guess I had was that he was a plant of some sort and his arms were vines and his hands were leaves. XD)
