For many years, me and a friend would spend two weeks out of the summer at a horse ranch down in southern Ohio. There were three major pastures surrounding our cabins/ main living property. This was the back pasture, though several of its horses are out of view.

We could litterally open the back window of our stilted cabin and look down at the horses right below us in the main pasture. Best way to wake up. Ever.
Many of my happiest memories spark from that place.
