This was a largish, fully hand painted acrylic/gouache piece...about 24"x28" I think. I finished it two days before Norwescon that year and put it in the artshow with a honkin' price tag so no one would buy it--because I wasn't ready to part with it yet.

But someone DID buy it. It's still the highest price I've gotten for one painting.

I salute you. It would've been impressive as hell even if you HAD access to an 'undo' button. Real media just makes it that much more staggering for the depth of detail.
