Stacy ought not to carry anything in her condition full stop. Same as she ought not to go up any ladders for the time being.
Which is just what my sister did when she was 6-months pregnant back in 2017. She went up a 12-ft-high ladder to show my dad how to hang up pelmets properly, he got down the side I was holding on to, so I stepped out the way for him, as I didn't trust myself to hold the ladder with my sister on it, so I assumed my dad would take over for me...
...only he walked away from the ladder once he got down and it was 10 seconds before anyone realised what had happened!
And who does my sister blame? Me, that's who! (even though she technically shouldn't have been up there in the first place)
