This is what happens when I'm given colored pencils to play with. Say it looks like Starry night all you want, but one more joke about this being my blue period and I might explode.
I'm going to have to get back on my work, despite my recent misery. Hopefully I'll be able to.
Please, OPINIONS!
Colored pencil on rougher paper than I should have used. Learning experience.

K, I know I've said this before, but... the flow!!! It makes this piece very pleasent to look at. I love the bow in the buildings, and the air comming up from the street vent. The little bits of yellow and the sunshiney poster are a very nice touch too. Ooh! And the boards in front of that building. All in all, you're awesome ^_^ Also I'm not sure what it is that's gettin' ya down, but I hope things remedy soon. *hugs*
The swirly Van Gogh-esque negative space compliments a very interesting advent in texturing. Interesting to put all of these elements together and make them seem so enchanting. I find it intriguing that the road itself seems to be flowing into the sewer grate. Sparks some interesting ideas...
Little late to comment on it, but I can easily see why you choose this as your featured.
I love the movement even though the entire piece is cold, like a harsh wind is blowing through.
The paper is a fantastic choice in my opinion, it gives the piece a grittier look I think (even though I've always loved the way colored pencils look on rough paper...)
