Inspired by a scene of Le Bossu (released as On Guard in GB and the USA), influenced in style by Brotherhood of the Wolf this is a homage to the awesome anthro swashbuckling graphic novel series "De Cape et de Crocs" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_cape_et_de_crocs). Just a little atmosphere sketch I did. Young pirate captain Jaquard in the shadows, observing someone or something in the shadows.

Funny enough, the same comic appeared in episodes, in a Serbian magazine "Politikin Zabavnik". I remember it very well, and loved it even before I found the fandom. Now they're releasing new episodes of Blacksad. But I have to agree - anthro comics not disney-based are hard to find in local stores. :)
