
Elder Bazel, part of the rescue team, rescued us when we were defeated as beginner explorers, now, we return the favor to the guild by coming with him to rescue other monsters! Don't worry, Team Monsties is coming to the rescue!

Rescuing in Monster Mystery will come with the chapter 2 release and will work similarly to the early days of mystery dungeon, where you can exchange codes with one another to keep another team exploring and protect them from losing their precious items! There will also be a few other code things you can do, like share team data and receive identical quests to other people ^vv^ Though this means you could in theory cheat using it, that's up to you! This code idea is just convenient because it allows the game to function completely offline ^vv^
But enough about the future, let me talk about what's going on now! I'm still wrapping up the patch- I wanted it out by today but I'm trying to be extra careful! Let me explain the roadmap so far:
I plan to release the 1.1 patch on tuesday (the 5th) that will do the following (shortened so it doesnt make this desc too long):
- Added settings to make gameplay a little quicker (crit slowmo effects and effects from skills when targeting multiple monsters (like roar and other effects))
- Saving is pretty much perfect when in a dungeon- it loads straight to your floor, saved all the positions of everything, and even what items and enemies are there (still making sure this is good to go)
- Monsters are now actually immune to a blight when they have 15 elem res or higher
- Fixed a BUNCH of the biggest bugs, as well as some that came in chapter 1 (you'll find your treasure bag currently is full of the last item you put in it- that's fixed with this patch lol)
- Some other misc stuffs
After this, in about hooppefully 2 weeks after that patch, I'll push out V1.2, which should include at least:
- Adding a control setting to set axis so the game functions on (hopefully) any controller
- Adding a push feature so you can back your team up or move them out of the way (was contemplating not having this like the original PMD Explorers, but I think I'll want it later)

In the meantime, i've been searching through my stuff and found my DS cartridges (idk if it's the correct spelling lol) of Blue Rescue Team and Explorers of Time ! Im happy that i got to revisit my Explorers of Time savefile that i haven't seen in 6 years ^^ Sadly.. my Blue Rescue Team got somehow corrupted (it asks me to do a new game even tho my stats of floors done etc. are still there ;-;)
