A preview for a Blender project I hope to be posting on Open3DLab soon.
I feel like I always need a forest setting of some sort. And while I have a rough model I threw together, I wanted one with some modularity that I could share with the community. Said modularity comes from the fact that all the props are instanced with Geometry Nodes. And with a little knowledge of Weight Painting you can adjust the layout of the forest with ease.
The trees and boulders came from this file. And the forest floor is a procedural texture that I baked onto simple terrain.
There's still a little tweaking I want to do. And I plan on adding more volumetric options. I understand this is of little use to a lot of you, but this is my "end game" for Blender: model making.
