If this had occurred in Sept of 1979 or so about all the F-16 could do, since there don't seem to be any missiles visible, is throw harsh language at the Mig-23. At the time, the M61 A1 Vulcan machine gun on board the F-16 was forbidden to be used due to the gun scrambling the instruments when fired causing the plane to yaw uncontrollably. An exceptionally awesome painting none the less.
