After Twilight had regained her senses after wearing the mask, she had inadvertantly thrown it out the window in a fit of anger.
Before she could realize her mistake, the mask somehow had managed to make it's way to Rainbow Dash's house.
Having full knowledge of what the mask was capable of (due to being the brundt of Pinkie Pie's first pranks while masked) Rainbow Dash picked up the mask and, with little hesitation, put it on. She knew that it eventually needed to be destroyed/sealed away, but not at the cost of her missing out on the fun!
"I make this mask 20% cooler!"
