Yeah, I'm going to sit back and stare at it for a bit, listen to my music, and then start on the next one... so many things I still need to finish... But yeah, I've got it done finally, and I am still thinking on it. I called it finished after a bit, because I really needed to move onto all my other work....

For some reason, he reminds me of Kefka...

I love kefka randomness, his clothing is just out of this world lol :) I really like the art style of Yoshitaka Amano who did the character work for FF6. His style, I would really like it to influence some of my human characters, The way he does the face of his characters is so... wistful ya know. When ever I think of lips, I think of Amano, hahaha. Also like some of the old painted face styles of the samurai although this isn't really even close to how they do theirs, they did use some awesome eye lining though right. Too bad I couldn't learn how to do watercolor. I also like the pale face style of Edward scissor hands face, The hair style is inspired by a lot of artists who have this giant out of this world hair doo's, I tried to do something a little different with it though.

I kept thinking of all these things I liked about them, and then I thought about other stuff I liked.. and things I didn't, and I put them in little places, I'm not sure if it mattered if they fitted ya know, this piece is really sprawling, a lot to look at.

I should upload the sketch actually to my scraps, it looks nothing like this, I think I will when I get home so you can see it ^_^

I wasn't as big a fan of Amano's concept artwork for VI. It seemed like it was impossible for him to draw males without making them completely Bishi. Sabin should NOT be Bishi.

XD I like the elegant look they have mostly XD I'm not into super girly looking guys... but yeah ^_^ I just wish I could do some of that guys crazy water coloring. Yes, Sabin, he was a bad ass, also, with his hair cut, he looked like my brother, was kind of amusing, in fact sabin's personality was just like my brothers as well O_O

Although my favorite one was probably edgar.

Oh I loved the crazy water coloring, I just wish he didn't stretch them all out like they were put through a taffy puller. The sprites looked a bit more... robust.

I love the blending/ambiguity between the image and the background/abstraction.

I would be inspired if I were in the position to create

I really wanted to see what I would do, if I just did what ever, I had already strayed from the original sketch by far, and then I liked having things come in and out of the back ^_^
