Five hour comic page. A small adaptation from one of
FromTheDead's stories. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/55319033/
Tried a lot of things here that I've never really drawn before. I'm very happy with how it turned out.
Thanks,
FromTheDead for letting me do this.

Hurray for pioneering experimentation!
While there are some very bold flourishes of perspective and scale,
I like how the vast outdoor scale of this visual narration
matches your affinity for cartography!
I can imagine a scalable map engine running one of your settings
being zoomed in to street level to reveal a scene like this.

Yeah. This was a lot of fun to work on. Forced me to draw a lot of things I normally don't. Especially trying some of these shots of perspective and scale are things I've ever done before.
I've thought about those map engines before and zooming into something like this would be very fun. I was mostly thinking about extra info, but little scenes like this would add a lot of flavor.

A great idea with drawing a scene from FtD's story like that! I remember it! The prompt was that weird unerring disembarkation, lol. And the main thing I recall from reading it was the fragment when she drank a little bit of sea water and how it made me nearly feel it physically myself. xD
I like very much your style with ink stuff. Everything looks very elegant and nice. I would be happy with the result too.

Yeah, that prompt was weird. I actually had an idea for it that morphed into a whole CYOA game. Maybe one day I'll finish it.
The drinking salt water scene was another favorite of mine. I think if I did another page from it that's what I would focus on.
A lot of the style was pretty much me experimenting. I've done some pure ink drawings for inktober, but nothing on this scale. Some of the more comic elements like the sound effects were out of my element and I'm still not sure I'm super happy with them.
