Bio:
Born within poverty, Sirbus was raised by his only mother, aimlessly wandering from alleyway to alleyway, scavenging for scraps. After only three years since his birth, Sirbus and his mother were approached by a group of mysterious men, offering to provide the two a new home. Though this seemed like a miracle, Sirbus' mother knew that something wasn't right. But before she could give her answer, her life was taken almost instantly, as the men took the infant Sirbus, as his mother was left to die.

These men were members of the Cerberus Society, a syndicate of assassins who deal in the dark arts and worship the demonic three headed hellhound Cerberus. Like many others who were unfortunate to be taken, the young wolf suffered brutal training 24/7, forcefully succumbing to the dark arts by his "teachers", his arm and face disfigured and mutated thanks to the demonic energies burning within his veins. But regardless, Sirbus pressed on, managing to survive his trials and become a fully fledged assassin for the society.

After many years of killings and assassinations, all in the name of the Society, he was granted the demonic blade, Shukketsu-kō (Bleeding Steel), a powerful weapon that has been passed down to the Cerberus Society's greatest warriors for generations.

However, after roughly 25 years of being a tool for the Society, he would eventually cross paths with Ignis Draco.

During a mission to assassinate a high priority target of the Society, Sirbus and a small team would come across the dragon mercenary, who just so happened to be in search of the target also. After dispatching Sirbus' lackeys, Ignis decided to challenge Sirbus in an honorable battle, with only their blades. Though taken aback by the dragon's sense of chivalry, Sirbus obliged to take part. drawing his blade.

The two fought, both equally skilled in combat. As they clash blades, Ignis began asking Sirbus what it is he fights for. The latter responds that he fights for the society, but Ignis is unsatisfied, and asks what he alone gains for serving the society. In Ignis' eyes, all he sees is a lost soul being used as a tool, one that would eventually be tossed away for another. His words slowly start to waver the assassin, giving the young dragon the edge to finally best Sirbus in combat.

Instead of finishing the assassin, Ignis offered his hand, saying that Sirbus can still make the right decision. But before Sirbus could answer, Ignis was ambushed by more Society members, leaving him open for Sirbus to finish off. However, Sirbus began to recall Ignis' words, he recalled the years of pain and suffering he had to endure, he recalled the loss of his mother, all thanks to the Society. He takes his blade, and swings.

The Society members drop like flies, the Shukketsu-kō feasting on their blood. Now marked as a traitor to the Society, Sirbus accepts Ignis' offer, now a member of APEX, his new family.

Now, Sirbus waits for the very day he will put an end to the Cerberus Society once and for all.

There he is! The 4th member of APEX, Sirbus Helfang! This may be the most drastic design change from turnaround to portrait out of all the members of APEX. I decided to give him a more "Red Hood" inspired look with the coat, tweaked his mask, as well as his mutated arm and face, giving it much more detail. Didn't really know if I could to the whole "burned skin" thing, so I went with an exposed muscle tissue look with the spikes of bone seeping out from the cracks.
