Heh so yeah, I decided it would be cute if Maddie hooked up with one of the heads she helped save from Coralis, Oriat the primate. And it only made sense for Oriat to settle in New Gothenburg on Earth with her other two friends, something Maddie gladly did as well, even if it meant giving up her body to be with her girlfriend. Though she is still in Starfleet, just as a bodiless head along side her now largely independent body (They essentially function as a two headed individual,) though it’s very common to find Oriat, ever the reporter, still at her side and in her bed on the ship.
God these two are such a cute couple!
