Ok.

1) Right click on your desktop, and then click on 'New'

2) 'New' should drop down and give you a few options to select

3) Pick 'Text Document'

4) Name you Text Doc whatever, and then open it

5) Copy and Paste your poem, story, whatever from your Word Document, and into your new Text Doc (or write it in there to begin with).

6) Once this is done, click 'Save As', which should be at the top. After naming your file, click on the little panel underneath your naming slot, and change it from 'ANSI', to 'UTF-8'.

7) When you submit your poem, open up your new Text Doc from your desktop, and upload it.
