It's April and that means it's time for the April Drawing challenge over at Live Journal. http://community.livejournal.com/april_drawing/ A different challenge is issued per day and for April 9, the theme was Leather, Lace, Corsets and More. I had been thinking of doing some pics of my steampunk pirates Rum & Coke so I started by looking at reference pics. This one caught my eye and before I knew it, Rum was posing for me.

I had the pencils done on this by Sunday but it was too light to scan so I began to ink. And ink. And yet more inking until my son had to stage an intervention and take the pic away from me. *L* This happens.

I'll probably begin coloring sometime today.
