[Dog TF] The First Encounter (Part 2)
[Art Done in 2022... tweaked a tad recently]
A continuation of the previous werewolf story.
Under the glow of the full moon, Eduardo felt his body changing as Mina and Joey watched. The stress of witnessing Joey’s change into a werewolf has triggered Eduardo’s own transformation into a sheepdog. His body ached to the point where he couldn’t get up off the ground like an invisible force was holding him down. Eduardo was breathing so fast that he was either hyperventilating or panting like a dog. Mina, seeing her friend in pain, soon sat by Ed for emotional support while Joey stood there observing the changing pup. All Ed could see in his pained, blurred vision was Joey’s ominous glowing eyes. The only comfort from the aches and pains of his change was the soft, cold hands of Mina. But that cold sensation wouldn’t last as Ed could feel his body hair grow and thicken into a long shaggy fur, preventing Mina from giving Ed that cold comfort.
"Seems like the kid's not used to this yet. You sure he's gonna be cut out for this, Mina?" Joey asked.
"I’m sure he will," Mina said. "And you're going to help him, Joey."
"Wait, I am!?" Joey roared in confusion.
"Yes. I helped you back then with your lycanthropy. It's only fair for you to return the favor," Mina retorted. "And besides, Ed's curse is almost similar to yours, Jo."
“A dog and a werewolf are not the same, Mina.” Joey muttered.
The werewolf watched as Eduardo fought in vain to maintain his human form. Joey recalled being in Eduardo's situation, struggling and failing to control his werewolf instincts. The nights when he lost control and went on rampages were still vivid in his memory.
Eduardo tried to speak to Mina for help but all that came out was grunts, growls, and barks as his body soon became too big for his clothing, constricting him. He tried to grab hold of his hoodie to remove it but his hands were already changed into less dexterous paws. Eduardo instead tried to bite onto his hoodie but a splitting headache gave him pause. His face pushed outwards into a dog’s muzzle, his nose cold and black, his teeth sharp and jagged, and his hair grew long enough to cover his already furred face. Eduardo’s barking intensified due to his claustrophobic panic as his clothes became too tight on him, yelping for someone to help. Joey soon stepped in to help.
“Alright, Mina. Help me out.” Joey said, “Clearly, he made the obvious rookie mistake.”
“Not wearing clothes twice his size, I presumed?” Mina asked.
“Bingo.” Joey confirmed.
Joey and Mina both helped Eduardo by tearing off his clothing revealing his shaggy coat of fur, giving Eduardo a sigh of relief for the moment. As his clothing was removed, his arms and legs immediately shifted into the fore and hind legs of a dog while his tail emerged. Ed barked and growled as he felt his transformation coming to a close. He howled at the full moon in relief but Joey soon noticed something was amiss about Ed’s change.
“Hey Mina, is he… really in pain?” Joey asked.
“Last time I asked him, he said his change only gives him minor discomfort,” Mina said.
Joey stared straight at Eduardo for a moment until it dawned on him.
“You little… YOU WERE MOCKING ME!” Joey growled.
Eduardo froze mid-howl as Joey growled at him, confirming his suspicion. An awkward silence hung in the woods before Ed quickly hid behind Mina to avoid Joey, hoping not to get attacked by the werewolf.
“Aww, he was just trying to flatter you, Jo.” Mina said as she held Eduardo close, “I think he did a very good job impersonating a werewolf, don’t you think?”
Joey groaned at that remark as Mina began petting Eduardo, who had become a large sheepdog. Under the full moon, both Ed and Joey had become two entirely different canine beasts. But the experience was, more or less, the same.
