Hello everycreature again! I realized that, since I started using my graphic tablet I have done just one single artwork for my dear and fluffy huggy friend  Yosh-E-O and it was indeed my first artwork. So, honestly, I was just getting used to the tablet and it wasn't as good as I could wish, you can check it out here if you want. So, I decided to do this completely new artwork as a well-deserved gift for him for being an amazing friend and also for giving me a couple of nice gifts even when I wasn't necessary. I know how much he loves to create stories around my artworks, so, what better than writing stories around an artwork made especially for that propose? :3

As you can see, Yosh, the dragon-duck creature is really happy because he is going to an amusement park. This idea came to my mind when I told him about the National Coffee Park on my country after my most recent visit, and how it was really amazing. I thought then that Yosh could go to that park at least via an artwork. Not to mention that drawing creatures on car seats was something I wanted to try, and I was also looking for a good excuse since a long long time ago to draw this amazing character, but well, I felt seriously unsure about doing it right. Finally, after months and months of having this pending task, we're finally here, with the artwork.

This drawing wasn't as complicated as I was expecting to be honest. I used a huge number of layers, probably 40 or more, but I think it was the easiest way to work on every detail. The posture wasn't too complicated and which probably made me feel more worried was the background and the lights and shadows of the scene. At the end I'm really happy with the result and I think this is the artwork my beloved friend deserves :) I hope you think that too.

Full artwork description for Yosh (If you have sight you can completely skip this part)

The scene occurs inside a car backseat where the left back and back windows of the car are visible showing a landscape of sugar cane crops, a brown and a bit arid dirt, and a couple of clouds in the sky, while a couple of rays of sunlight are joining to car’s inside. Yosh is sitting on a baby car seat on the left side of the car (from camera’s perspective he is in the right side of the scene), a small Snowdrop plushie is next to him as well as an extended piece of paper which stands “National Coffee Park”.

Yosh’s baby car seat is mostly black, with some gray tones on the armrests. Yosh is firmly hold to the seat with five straps coming from the top, sides, and bottom of the seat, holding in this way Yosh’s elbows, waist and diaper and joining on a central buckle just close to Yosh’s belly

Yosh appearance is based mostly in aricub’s design for Yosh Little Tales logo as well as Plinkie_Poi and Luca’s designs and colors. Overall, Yosh has his classical yellow duck beak and red spines all over the head and back just as tons of dragons do. Yosh’s front and back legs has claws, but his back legs are covered with booties just like the previously mentioned references. The dragon-duck creature is raising his front legs in the air because of the excitement of the trip, his short tail is visible too in the scene, and he is wearing a blue t-shirt with a yellow star in the center as well as a fluffy diaper with different tones of purple featuring a big letter Q in the center of the landing zone of the padded garment. Apart of the mentioned clothes, Yosh’s booties are pink colored, most of the creature’s body is green colored (this tone is really similar to Plinkie_Poi’s interpretation with a vivid and saturated tone) and of course the part of the belly which starts under the beak and extends to the tail, is white colored, pretty much like cream. Yosh has big and deep mostly blue eyes with some light blue reflections not showing a clear focus point. Finally it is important to mention that Yosh’s legs, head and body overall features a small effect of having feathers all over it.

Snowdrop plushie is at the side of the dragon-duck is just about the size of his head. It is the well-known pegasus OC on standing position with her abundant mane and deep blue eyes representing blindness pretty much like in Yosh’s representation of this artwork. The piece of paper close to the plushie is big and white and features in the center of it, with three rows of red stylized letters, as mentioned before, the words “National Coffee Park” which are cut in the last row because of canvas size.
