A few years ago, I did a 'dog shirt series' of paintings for shirts, except I didn't really go far with them. I've been thinking about revamping the series and drawing one dog for every letter of the alphabet and making it into an alphabet book.
This is a possible style for the drawings, really flat and simple but bold colours.

This is when you get creative and use other names for breeds. To name a few, Australian Cattle Dogs are also called Queensland Heeler and Zwergschnauzer is a Miniature Schnauzer ( there is also apparently a dog called the Zulu Dog ). I think U is the only letter of the alphabet that would pose an issue, but a run to google can tie those ends quickly.
