It's so good to read new work from you, D'Otter!

"Back Brush" reads pretty well so far. It makes sense for a story about self-perception to begin in the middle of its protagonist Everyman's thoughts, so I like the beginning as it stands. There's not much to tighten as far as the prose goes. A few of the inevitable typos here and there, but since you already write with surgical precision, I don't feel anything really missing from the story. It's all there, in the lines or between them. Smith's epiphany in the final paragraph is a stunner.
