Tried a new way for bacon. I bought some stainless steel racks that fit in a 15 by 11" pan. Lay thick-cut bacon on one rack in the pan and place the second on top to keep it flat. Baked it at 425 for 15 minutes and it turned out wonderfully. on the rack it keeps the bacon out of the fat and the taste is amazing.
From Chris: It is worth noting that this method will keep your stovetop from all of the grease splatter that normally happens when frying BACON.
Also, if there is any grease / drippings leftover, DON'T throw that in the sink (it would clog it anyways) but rather USE it for your dressings, baked potatoes or any other dish that needs that 'kiss' of BACON flavor.
Finally, you can also use this method if you are looking to make candied BACON which is orgasmic, just add maple syrup or brown sugar on top of it when baking (and have tin foil underneath for easy cleanup)
