Chiptune - SaGa Frontier II - Feldschlacht III (VRC6+N163)
[ˈfɛlt.ʃlaxt ˈdraɪ] "pitched battle three."
I made this very slightly slower than the original so that it could synchronize most gracefully with the 60 Hz NSF driver. I made all the DPCM samples myself, representing all the strings chords, using 0CC-FamiTracker, and exported to .wav file which I used in combination with a wave pattern editor to extract individual samples. 0CC-FamiTracker has a bug that prevents DPCM .wav import from working, so I used vanilla FamiTracker to create the DPCM instrument and export it to an .fti file, which I then loaded into my 0CC-FamiTracker project. All this trouble because I still can't upgrade fully to Dn-FamiTracker until it can successfully export every .0cc chiptune I've made.
Sequenced in 0CC-FamiTracker using the Konami VRC6 and Namco 163 chips and 36 DPCM samples.
