While these photos make the river look like a great swimming spot from certain angles and when I lazily paste a cartoon animal in a bathing suit onto them, the unfortunate reality is that the river is quite polluted and smells bad at times, not to mention the strong currents... But not taking that into account, this sort of pic definitely has a sort of nostalgic feel to it.
