I'm shifting my "time frame" guess more and more foreward. This comic BEGS for some sort of large cityscape panel where we can see the architecture. With the ninja powers I thought maybe 1800's, then with the apartment 1900's, then with the HOLOGRAM PICTURE--- and CLONING! ... 2100's? Its hard to scale it, with each new piece of information and tech that we see. Your main character is minimalistic, so we're getting snippets of the time frame through other people. Hmm.
