So between my other work I decided to start trying to clean up lore details and document everything in a fun presentable way, starting with the common request for the gilded dragon species. Something for peace of mind I guess. I know it isnt anything special but just sharing for those interested <3

A first extraordinary dossier to document and tell more about the intriguing lore of your characters. Of course i'm damn interested about these gilded dragons, about their behavior and the physical differences between males and females frequently encountered. Right like happened to dear Clostridium, I enjoy the way that you imagined these creatures when they're breathing fire. Oh-ho-hoooo!~ YES! I absolutely loooove this stuff. Lore! Worldbuilding! Concept art! This ticks so many boxes. I adore things like this ^^ Little details like the horns protecting the fire glands and the individual crown growth patterns are great tidbits. Love seeing the structure of the fire glands and the bit about them drooling fire as a threat display is metal af. Awesome stuff! Thanks for sharing :D
Pretty cool. I've always thought that dragonfire was a gas produced in one of their stomachs which ignited when expelled under pressure into the air, too. And the gas was what gave dragons the buoyancy to fly. So if they breathe too much fire, they lose the ability to fly and drift groundward, then have to go eat and sleep to generate more gas.
I'm not sure if I thought of that myself, or read it in a book about dragons.
