“Did you find anything yet Steve?” a local archaeologist said to a partner “nothing ye- wait… I think I might have something.” he said finding something that appeared to be a white claw made out of a strange metal “it appears to be part of a statue or something he shouted back.”
As he examined the claw and saw it was tougher then steel. A few months past as a team of over 100 archaeologist came working on excavating the giant robotic figure. Many months more passed before the whole thing was out the team marveled at the large metallic creature as it seemed to be bearing a several occult symbols, with a yellow, and white body. Soon in pure disbelief they watched as the 328 foot tall figure’s green eyes opened, soon a voice rung out saying “Serial number UltrapetJ10459H, Mesmyriza.” and soon he blinked and looked around bending down towards the tiny people most of them panicking but soon feeling playful as he did stood up and lifted his foot high and stomping a few of them getting killed as they started screaming and running from him. He smiled and started stomping just barely missing them, loving this game. Soon getting on all fours he grinned, as he picked one up and dropped it into his mouth and pushed it playfully against the side of his teeth before chewing the tiny body up and swallowing. “Mmm” he said “you taste wonderful.” before walking on, crushing a few as he finally and eating the rest of them. When he got to the surface of the digging site “wait…” he said “something’s wrong…Where’s the city?” he asked himself as he looked out onto the vast sea from the tiny island he stood on. He looked around and nothing seemed the same as it was, no landmasses that used to be around him were gone.

Nothing was the same, “how long was I shut down for?” he wondered where everything was. He looked back down to the island, only that was left here were the ruins where he was shut down in, and all the tinies and, their raft. He thought for a minuet and decided it’d be better if he’d swim try to find some land with more people on it. And maybe, just maybe, he’d find the city. He said driving into the water and began his long swim to any land mass he could find.

Almost days on swimming and nothing to be found, this was seeming pointless, did the world become just a tiny island? He wondered before seeing a beach far off in the distance. He smiled and began swimming fast towards it, as he approached it, he began picking up signs of human life. As he swam over and walked onto the beach all the people below him started running for their lives, this actually disappointed him, here he hoped to have meet people but instead they ran. He took the quickest way out of the city that he could. When he got out the first thing he did was sit down in a empty field next to a lake. He sighed, his tail dipped in the water as he moved it back and forth. He looked around, when he was back in Atlantis people loved him, and kids would often times play with him, but now, they feared him.

A short distance away however, a man watched, he was amazed by giant mechanized being, but couldn’t tell weather or not it was friendly. Soon his curiosity got the most of him. He walked carefully over to it, if he was to die, it would be worth it. As he approached it he mentally gulped as he looked in amazement at the metal it was made of. Mesmyriza Picked up the human was not within touch distance to the human, and in fact the human was touching him. He turned his head to look at the human the human slowly, in fear, said “h-hi…” Mesmyriza looked at him, and noticed that he wasn’t running, maybe humanity wasn’t that bad. “hey.” he said in reply looking down towards the human. He picked up the human and asked “aren’t you scared of me?” the human soon replied “yes… but I’, willing to overcome that fear to learn more about you.” he said. This brought joy to Mesmyriza “thanks, you have no idea what this means to me.” he said


But that joy was short lived a voice, louder then what most of the humans sounded like shouted “Put the man down. Surrender peacefully and we won’t fire..” As it did Mesmyriza looked around soon seeing what looked like a man and some larger metal vehicles with what looked like long tubes coming out of the tops. He took a closer look at the things, the army taking it as a threat and lunching a shot out of the tank. This hurt Mesmyriza which only angered him, as he stood up he started crushing the tanks under his foot, and kicking those that he didn’t stomp on. As he crushed them more just came, it started to seem like there was no end to this, he ran only shortly. Once he got his new friend far enough to get away he set him as the army continued their assault, soon jets an helicopters getting involved. “get out of here…” he said getting hit by a few rockets, soon he lashed out knocking four of them out of the air, it didn’t seem to stop until… He bumped into a power line, the mass of electricity entering his system caused a short cirit, Mesmyriza soon fell over onto 3 of the tanks, as many more trucks came to pick up the body. As they carried the large mech away Leonard followed. When it seemed like they were going to fast, he looked. The large military trucks too far away and too fast for him to follow. He painted and just when he found his car, they where gone the man, filled with sadness fell to his knees cursing at them.

That following Wednesday, everyone at his work place were talking about a rumor, apparently from what he over heard. Someone’s relative in the military heard about a large metal creature, and that the metal was unlike anything they’ve seen. He just knew it was his new friend. That day he left from work as soon as he going around town gathering info on where the military base would be. Meanwhile, Mesmyriza woke up and looked around, confused as to where he was before remembering what happened. Moving slightly caused a rustling noise when he looked over his body seemed to be covered in chains. He fought the chains even more, soon a current went into him, not enough to knock him out but enough to stop him. “so this is what subject he sent me.” a tiny scientist down below him said as he looked up to the giant robot like figure.

Four days have past, and Leo, stopped at a motel. But he could get off of his mind what cruel and terrible things where probly going on in that military base. He woke up the next morning and immediately went to his car. But then, something caught his eye, he saw a sign saying “military testing site. next test: in 2 days and 250 miles north.” this made his eyes widen in shock, he had to hurry. Most likely what they were doing, was changing Mesmyriza into a weapon of destruction and war. He floored the gas, he had to find his friend and fast. Meanwhile “What is your name!?” a voice shouted “Mesmyriza…” he replied, his voice sounding computerized.
“what is your purpose…” the Scientist asked

“to serve as a weapon and infiltration device…” he replied looking down to the human before adding “and also to protect the citizens of our country.”

“good my pet.” the scientist said walking away after shutting Mesmyriza down for the night. And into a general’s office “sir, the Mech is under out full control, And we’ll start testing in three days.”

“WHAT!?” the general shouted “I thought you said two days, what’s the problem now!?”

“well sir, these things take time, and we also found that the memories will take longer then expected and that some of these relate to the Atl-”

“Shut up!” he said “delete the memories now and nothing else, we test in two days!” the scientist nodded, almost running as he began deleting Mesmyriza, though to the computer a few came up as “corrupt files,” and couldn’t be deleted the scientist shrugged and finished only 25% of his original memories remained.

Leonard, had to hurry, it was only a day until he’d read the test site and the test day. It was early in the morning so he might have time if he hurried. He let out a short yawn, before finishing his coffee, at this point the roads where starting to blur together. But he knew he had to do this. He drove as fast as he could, the adenine building in his blood there were no doubts in his mind what he had to do. He was determined to get to Mes. Before the test day would be finished.

The trucks where pilling out of the military base one by one filled a whole 4 lane highway, the place was block at and a area 10 miles from the base. The test site being 50miles in distance. “sir, all vehicles are out and ready to start. And to my knowledge the project has just been site on site, do you want me to order the start, sir?”

“yes, tell them to turn it on..” he said as the truck he was in stopped at the test site. A man in a tall black suit and tie stepped out as he marveled at the giant creature as it turned one “System online… waiting input from control…” he said in a almost zombie like computer voice. “it’s perfect Johnson! Set this thing on auto I want to see how it works and thinks for it’s self.” the near by scientist nodded as a few decoy tanks were brought out as it was set to auto “System boot… Objective: destroy enemy vehicles and base.” his radar soon opened as he turned his head and looked directly at the decoy tanks, soon he lifted a foot stomping them. “object 1: Completed… Scanning… No base located… Mission completed” he said the scientist looked at his commander and proudly said “this… this shall be what will save millions!”

Meanwhile, Leo was racing as fast as he could but and drove through the military barricades, a few of the troop trucks started after him. He drove as fast as he could swerving to avoid any and all military traffic coming his way trying to ram him off of the road. When he got close to the Mesmyriza, he stopped and got out as fast as he could, but it didn’t take long for troops to get him captured as he shouted “MESMYRIZA!!! IT’S ME LEO!!” he struggled as much he could trying to get out of holds, managing to do so but for only a few seconds. The more robotic Mesmyriza looked down and said “Citizen please sta- L-Leo?” he said his voice returning to normal with the last word “Leonard… where am I?” he said looking around.

“sir, this must have been one of files I couldn’t delete… and I’ve lost most control… manual won’t work.” The Scientist said working on the computer Mesmyriza’s arm twitched but soon the little control the scientist did have was lost. “HELP!!!” Leonard shouted again, and without hesitation Mesmyriza nodded stomping on the trucks after picking Leonard up watching as the troops that grabbed him fell 50ft to their death. After that the two ran for their lives they had to get out. And fast… but where couldn’t the military chase them… besides a different country… the two had no choice, they had to leave, and this meant Leonard would never see his friends and family again. The two easily traveled what would have been days for Leonard in hours. As the two ran they could only fear what was just a few miles behind them occasionally 3 jets would fly by just to be swatted out of the air by Mesmyriza.

The two saw joy but soon it was replaced by fear as they saw the military ready to attack on the border. If they did cross it at this point the naboring country would track them down and kill them. Leo glanced around, as he patted Mesmyriza to get his attention and said “put me somewhere water proof then jump into the ocean trust me…” He nodded cupping his hands making a water and air proof seal as ran towards the ocean. Reaching the beach where he first arrived leaping as far out into it as he could, into the deepest part of the ocean where he kept Leonard close to his chest trying to keep the air from escaping and the water from entering. After 4 hours the two were presumed dead as the military erased records of them and went back to their development of weapons. After that time he resurfaced as he opened his hand. Leonard gasped heavily breathing the same. “a-are they gone?” Mesmyriza looked and round and said “yea, just rest I’ll get us to a different place.” Leo nodded as the two started traveling towards a different land mass. Reaching a County’s beach. But quickly he had to make himself look nice holding Leonard out as a example… with some time after they arrived they where known. Not as a threat, but as people just like them.
