Heya!
I finished a long overdue headshot illustration for Sasathebear (or Sasa for short) of her sadly passed away dog, Mimi. This little precious lady truly was a sassy yet wonderfully cute girl. Sasa won this headshot illustration during one of my Streams!
I was given instructions to give her a somewhat sassy expression and I tried my best to capture Mimi as nicely as I possibly could from the photos I've been given of her. I put a lot of effort into her markings and adding these small details in the fur! I can tell, i had fun drawing her and enjoy the outcome. I can't draw photo-realistic portraits of animals but will always put lots of love and effort into creating a version in my style, Mimi being no exception. Let me know what you think!
