The african animal version of Faith, for my TLKFAA account.
His name is Mamba, which is swahili for crocodile.
I don't know why a crocodile came to me almost instantly when thinking of him. I think its the slightly menacing, predatory, attitude and the grin. Definately the grin.
Whereas Faith is based mainly on Corey's on-stage persona (ie, loud, aggressive, controlling) this guy is based on Coreys comedic side, which is pretty well developed!
I based his colouration and some features on the most recent version of Corey's mask, which I don't seem to have a good pic of, but most slipknot fans will know which one I mean.


Anyhoo, Mamba is easy going, boisterous and doesn't take life all that seriously. I suppose when you're top of the food-chain, you can have that luxury. He likes to scare other animals and pretend he wants to eat them, but he won't. At least, not his friends. I can't vouch for anyone else.
Never drawn a croc before, and as with all my first draft pictures of these characters, he may well change a little over time, but mostly this will be accurate.

On a side note, why does FA have a drop down option for alligators, but not crocodiles?
