Somewhat related to my other creature, except this one is smaller, and, as its name (Childeater) suggests, feeds on children. It hides under their beds, its body folded up to fit snugly against the wall, over the course of a few nights, it figures out which toy is the kid's favorite, and steals it when the kid is gone. It stabs the toy with its extremely thin, long and translucent tongue, and sets the end of the toy just sticking out from the bed. It sits there with its mouth gaping open, tongue lying on the ground until the child comes along and picks up its toy. When the creature feels the tug, it yanks its tongue backwards and drags the child into its mouth.
if the child has no favorite toy, then the creature grabs the child's leg with its tongue and drags it under.

It has some similarities to my other creature, and I consider it something of a subspecies.
