Here's part 2 of my special birthday posts ^^
Fur needs more than just a friend. She needs a hero and a guardian angel.
For context, Fur / Fur-Chan is the main character of the webcomic "Fur Just Wanna be Friend," created by TheTerm. With a heart of gold and optimistic demeanor, in the story she goes to high school in hopes of finding good friends who will like her the way she is. Unfortunately, she is constantly bullied and tortured by her human schoolmates since she is the ONLY anthro furry in the entire campus. Her bullies would often go far as to stick objects in her hair, vandalize her desk and school locker, ruin her lunch meals and even dump her belongings either on the streets or in a river. Even worse is that her teachers won't even bother to lend a helping hand for her. Despite Fur's torment, she remains positive and never shows signs of retaliation or malice towards her harassers. She is a kind-hearted fox girl who's never done harm to anyone, and yet she is mercilessly attacked all because she is simply a furry character. It is a short comic that I started reading way back in 2018 in the old version of this story, which is remade recently back in 2023.
I've seen
WolfJediSamuel 's piece with Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde a while back and decided to do my own take on Fur's character. I postponed my progress for a couple of weeks and then decided to finish what I've started during the first few days of March. While Sam's take on Fur's character feels more politically focused on the furry community in general, my take on the other hand is more personal and emotional. No surprise like most people, of course I am one of those that felt a sense of rage and retaliation as I've read through the webcomic seeing poor fur being tortured nonstop. I wanted to let out those heavy feelings through this piece of work, and I'm glad I was able to express it the way I wanted to ^^ I could've gone with a MUCH darker themed drawing, but I wanted to show some restraint and make this artwork as family friendly as possible lol
My work here had some inspiration from Izuku Midoriya carrying Eri on his back from My Hero Academia. I hope you guys like it ^^

I heard about the Anthropomorphic abusers and haters event. To be honest, I hate the concept because it's focusing on humans, who are those types of creeps only. Even Anthros some of them are creepy as well, or any other race. There's no such thing is called city of Angels.
Any way, awesome art buddy 😁
