I limited the anthro species to mostly carnivores found in each biome, like here (land inspired by middle europe) with wolves, foxes, cats and occasionally bears. Mostly because most of my characters were originally wolves ^^; but wolves only would be boring!
Lol, but my setting's "wolves only!" Will you think my stuff's boring, now?!? X3
Well, it's wolves-only as far as the "normal people" go. The mystical creatures and monsters are a bit different, though the idea is that there's still some measure of "wolf-ness" to them too, because them being like that is like with however-many such creatures in our cultures having "part human" qualities to them.
For my setting, it's about variances in fur-color and one's native culture/sub-culture, which spans from "Norse-ish" and "typical European varieties" to Arabian-inspired, Mayan/Incan/etc., and so on.
At any rate, multi-species is cool too, of course! I like it here! :D

Oh I didn't mean all wolf only universes are boring hahah :D but it would feel weird in my world with anthro wolves only (and not any other race) it's also difficult to make so many unique black and white designs so it's better just to change species

I see! And yeah, I get how having different species designs can help expand character possibilities with a more limited color range.
And of course, I got ferals and such too. Just not wolves in this case; they'd be pretty weirded out if you showed them a feral wolf, probably. XD
