Name: Grazing Titan
Scientific Name: Neosauropoda mammalis (New Mammalian Sauropod)
Taxonomy: Gentically modified humans
Max HP: 9,580
Max ATK: 190
Diet: Herbivore
Sapience: Non-sapient
Height: 60ft
Length: 97ft long
Weight: 40 tons
Lifespan: 110 years
Bio: Descended from the Grassland Giants, these titanic sauropodlike posthumans are the largest land animals on Anthropoterra. Needing all of their limbs to stand, the Grazing Titan had to sacrifice any and all dexterity of their forearms and turn them back into legs. Their feet have also become elephantine to further keep balance. The largest land mammal to ever exist on Earth was Paraceratherium, which was 17ft tall and 23ft long. The Grazing Titans are 4 times the size.
To maintain their massive size, the Grazing Titan has become as gluttonous as they are huge. A typical Grazing Titan can strip 3 Tower trees of their leaves and fruits a day. As a result, Grazing Titans are incredibly fat year round. Their size also makes them untouchable by most predators. Even the normally brazen Zoridian would think twice to hunt an adult titan (though calves are still fair game). Grazing Titans have also re-evolved tails. This is because in the forests they live in, there are an abundance of insects. They use their tails to swat away biting insects.
(Now I know I said that animals on Anthropoterra would be entirely supplanted by posthumans, but for for the adaptation of these posthumans' tails to work, I'll need to either A) make insectlike posthumans that would convincingly look like bugs, or B) retcon the human-only seed world to have insects act like pests for the Titan Grazers, the latter of which made much more sense on an evolutionary prespective)
Despite their massive size, Grazing Titans have kept their K selected reproduction compared to earth Sauropods (which just lay 100 or so eggs and pray to Raptor Jesus one survives). After mating, females will remain pregnant for 4 years and give birth to one or two calves and raise them for 20 years until they reach adolescene and are capable of living on their own. Even as babies, Titan Grazers are big, with an average newborn calf being the size of an adult cow.
Grazing titans are much dumber than their Grassland Giant relatives. Though they keep their largeish heads, Their brains have become much smaller. This is because their lifestyle has made them incredibly lazy and slow. This also means they have abandonded their herding lifestyle. In fact, Grazing Titans have become much more territorial and will fight unrelated members over entire arces of forest on a regular basis, only tolerating each other's presence when mating. Despite this, the Grazing Titans are still emotionally intelligent beings as they will dote on and take very good care of their calves for almost their entire childhoods. After reaching adolescence, Grazing Titans will wander away from their mothers to pursue a life on their own.
Overall, these giant posthumans live a life that consists of nothing much more than grazing on trees and slowly waddling around, occasionally wailing. Not that it means anything, just because they enjoy wailing. Although I mentioned that most predators won't dare take on an adult Grazing Titan, there's only one predator that even the adults of this mighty species fear, but we won't encounter it for another 10 or so days into this seed world.
