That's a good question, actually - from what was discussed on MLPArena, it sounded like she'll actually be appearing as a character (probably not as regularly as Celestia, though). However, I don't think anyone confirmed that specifically, only that she'll be confirmed as appearing in the second season. Hopefully we'll get more info closer to the release
