As those of y'all who follow him may know, 
EmberPhox is known for his powers involving portals. Able to make one end significantly bigger or smaller than the other, he can reach or step through them to interact with things at different sizes- or just grab a soda from the fridge without having to go all the way to the kitchen
In this case, though, I guess he's decided to chill amongst the stars... But of course reality is often not as accommodating as we'd like. See, galaxies can get far, faaar apart, and when you grow enough to fill the space between, they're really, reeeaaally small. So it seems he's just chosen to rectify that problem by drawing plenty of them through his portals to watch while he chills, their beautiful glow lighting him up.
