Adopted her on friday, I have no idea how old she is but im sure shes maybe 2-3 weeks old, so yea :3

Let me clarify with that. You see. It is true that calci-sand is edible and in small amounts, it can be digestable. However. Using it as a substrate for long periods of time will be a bad idea because they will continue to eat it, the undigested portions of the sand will stay in their intestines and harden, and the more they eat it, the more it will build up and block. Eventually it will get so hard where food cannot pass the intestines and will swell up. Your beardie will stop eatting, stress out, and they will die. A painful and horrible death.
PLEASE. Don't trust the labels. They usually print those just for people to buy it. It IS NOT GOOD.

I'm not trying to upset you or be overly dramatic or anything like that. You have one adorable looking beardie. What you could do is use paper towels for the flooring in the mean time if you want a quick method. However. I'd go with using repti-carpet. Buy two of them. Basically it's reuseable. Put one down, and a week or two later, take it out and throw it in the wash, and use the second one. :3
