~~~~~~~
As the wind whipped furiously at the window, lashing it with bands of rain, I couldn't help but watch on in a bit of a bored interest to it. The storms approach was slow but obvious for the days leading up to it. I spend those days stocking up on food and other necessities as they said when it would hit, it would hit hard. This means that pretty much everything around me here is closed due to the storm and will remain so for most of the week. Any place left open is much too far for me to make the trip like this so thank goodness I decided to start that early as lately my mobility has reached rock bottom and trips would take me nearly whole days just to complete. While I may have made my last supply run just as the rain nipped at my tail, it was all the time I needed.
But now what? Stuck inside with not much to do as this storm rages on outside and i'm certainly not getting the exercise i've been planning for. At least i'm still mobile despite it all. Hmm, maybe all the walking i've done has helped me more than I think and that in the meantime it will stave it off until the storm clears? I hope so because I think i'm starting to outgrow my own bed... and i'm getting hungry again.
